The museum
The mirror maze was fascinating. You enter a hallway lined with mirrors. The mirrors are arranged in a hexagon shape and one side is open to the next hexagon lined hallway. The hallway twists and turns and branches. You have multiple options but only one leads to the exit.
It was confusing because it looks like all directions are a hallway. Adding to the confusion, you can see a person who appear to be in front of you but they are in a different part of the maze. You are seeing their reflection. It was really fun. The picture above gives you an idea of the maze. there are four of me. The question is, which one is me? Pick one one of the numbers and submit in a comment. After a few days, I’ll let you know.
The Tesla coil was the loudest thing I’ve ever heard aside from the horns on the Illinois River locks. The Tesla coil was developed by Nicholas Tesla to provide wire free electricity to homes. We don’t use it today because it is too loud and dangerous. While we were there they demonstrated the power of the coil. It discharged arcs of electricity with over 1 million volts. It emitted an very loud buzz and then a bang. It was intimidating to see.
